How many fee-earner hours does your estate admin quietly eat?
Your probate fee is fixed. The asset-chasing, IHT400 collation and notification tracking behind it aren't — they eat hours you can't re-bill. Set your numbers and see the hours Estate Desk hands back.
Defaults use typical UK figures (≈£200/hr charge-out, 2–4 admin hours saved per matter). It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.
Freed time is capacity, not automatic cash — it's worth money only when the fee-earner re-bills it, which is why the re-bill lever is yours to set. The Estate Desk cost is real. Figures estimate the opportunity from the numbers you entered.
What you get, per matter
The admin done, before your fee-earner opens the file.
Estate inventory
A structured schedule of assets and liabilities with account details — the discovery grind, done.
IHT400 data pack
Figures collated and laid out ready for the IHT400 and its schedules, so form-filling is review, not research.
Notification tracker
Who's been told, what's outstanding, what's chased — one view across every institution on the estate.
How it works
Send the matter. Get it back ready to sign.
Send the matter
Share the basics of a live estate, securely. No system change, no migration.
We do the collation
Asset & liability discovery, the IHT400 data pack, and the notification tracker — built by hand.
You review & sign
Your fee-earner checks the output and applies for the grant. You hold the legal work throughout.
Who's behind it
Built by an engineer who automates the data grind — not a law firm.

[Your name]
I'm a cloud and data engineer — my day job is taking repetitive, error-prone data work off people's desks and making it fast and reliable. Estate admin is exactly that kind of work: hours of asset-chasing and form-collation that your fixed fee never pays for.
I'm not a probate practitioner and I don't pretend to be. You keep the legal work and the client relationship; I just take the collation grind so your fee-earner opens a file that's already done.

Questions
The things you'd ask first.
Are you doing the legal work?
No. Estate Desk is administrative support — data-collation, document preparation and tracking. Your firm remains instructed, reviews everything, and applies for the grant. Applying for a grant of probate for reward is a reserved legal activity under the Legal Services Act 2007, and that stays entirely with you.
What happens to the estate's data?
Data stays in the UK, is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is used only for the matter you send — never shared, never used to train anything. A DPA and NDA are available on request before you send a single file. When a matter closes, the data is returned or deleted on your instruction. And estate funds are never touched — this is a software-and-admin layer behind your firm.
Is the first case really free?
Yes. The best way to judge the time saved is to see it on one live file. I'll run the first matter at no charge; after that it's a flat fee per matter, with no lock-in.
Do we have to change our case-management system?
No. Estate Desk slots alongside whatever you use today — Clio, LEAP, Actionstep or a spreadsheet. The output is a clean pack your fee-earner reviews. No migration.
Try it on your next matter — the first one's free.
Book 20 minutes. I'll run one live file end to end so you can see the hours it saves before committing to anything.
